Bladnoch Distillery is Scotland’s most southerly distillery. They produce a Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky in this 200 year old location. Refurbished and restored in 2015 this is now a modern distillery and is privately owned.
They offer an hour long tour taking in the history and the production of the whisky usually at 11am and 4pm but please check their website for details and booking ahead is advisable. https://bladnoch.com/
There is a tasting session at the end of the tour and as you would expect an opportunity to purchase your favourite dram.
Cafe Melba is on-site and is a nice modern set-up offering a good lunch menu with local produce as well as a selection of cakes teas and coffees and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am till 4pm.
