Fantastic beach just a short drive (approx 20 mins) from Newton Stewart. Mossyard is a working farm with a caravan site set right on the coast, not far from Gatehouse of Fleet. Although the caravan park is well used and private there is public access and the farmer allows parking for the beach with an honesty box with a suggested £2 fee which is well worth it if you wish to spend the afternoon at this stunning bay.
Additionally they provide a single toilet cubicle which is aways nice and clean. When the tide is in this seems a realatively small bay although there is a pathway around to a second bay which stunning on a sunny day. When the tide goes out the bay almost empties of water and you can walk for miles. You can view there website HERE.
